《5.12汶川不相信眼泪》讲的是一个发生在汶川大地震中，一座小学校里的感人故事。 　　突如其来的大地震将北川的镇中心学校毁于一旦，几百名师生身陷废墟中等待救援，驻川武警某师参谋长亲自带领三百精兵强将，冲进灾区，却碰倒了余震，一股巨大的泥石流顷刻将他们全部掩埋。废墟中的师生们没有坐以待毙，他们唱歌、聊天彼此鼓励。与此同时顽强的战士们从泥石流中英勇钻出，他们清点人数毅然决然地冲重灾区……

盛夏来临，蚊蝇肆虐。在某处，离地面不远处的空中，12只蚊子整齐地排出阵型，等待猎物的出现。不久，一名高个儿男子出现。猝不及防之时，蚊子军团呼啸而下，对男子进行围攻，他从头到脚浑身上下全部中招。男人想了想，觉得一人挨咬实在太亏，他算了算蚊子的数量，瞬间想出一个好办法。男人又拉来一个敦实的男子，这时蚊子军团再次发起进攻，不同的是每人只遭到6只蚊子的攻击。高个男人一阵窃喜，敦实男人则想法减轻损失，于是又找来一个牺牲品。如是在三，直到第五个男人出现，绝对平均的均衡被彻底打破了…… 　　本片荣获第二届上海电影节科教类奖。

此片是帕索里尼和极左组"不懈斗争"合作拍摄的，这个组织本身就牵扯进影片里相关的事件颇深，影片内容也相当激进。1969年12月12日，一枚炸弹在米兰喷泉广场的农业银行爆炸，导致16人死亡。该事件当时马上被政府归罪为左翼无政府主义者所为，并对左翼组织展开大规模追捕。实际真相扑朔迷离。

A social commentary based thriller about the eventful year of London 2011, told through the eyes of HERO, the main character. With a 2012 Olympic style feel to the film, as well as some of the recent urban issues re-enactment, it is set to be a very current and topical short.
